Exclusive Services
The assessment is designed to be as comfortable and convenient for you as possible. The initial phone call or virtual appointment will be to find out more about your difficulties and symptoms. At this stage Dr Butler will answer any questions you may have and offer advice and guidance about going forward with the assessment.
1
Qb test (only) £250
The Qb test is undertaken remotely from the comfort of your own home or workplace, and takes around 40 minutes. We use a technology which is FDA cleared and TGA registered for use with people aged from 6 years old.
The Qb test provides an objective measure of the 3 core ADHD symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity to better inform a diagnosis of ADHD. The Qb test alone does not provide a diagnosis.
The test results are instantly available for interpretation by Dr Butler and automatically compares your results with individuals of the same age.
Subjective tests such as the diagnostic interview may be subject to bias and ambiguity, with the Qb test you can feel confident with a more complete picture of your ADHD symptoms. Take a look at a demo video of the Qb test.

Adult ADHD Assessment £925
The assessment with Dr Butler takes place over 2-3 sessions at times that are convenient for you. These sessions involve taking a full history of your development and mental health, DIVA interview and Qb test (worth £250). Don’t worry if you cannot remember too much about your childhood, as we gather corroborative information from family members and from school reports where possible.
Throughout this period contact will be available via email or telephone to answer any questions you may have.
The third session takes place after the assessment is completed, and this is where you will be asked about your wellbeing and offered advice and signposting tailored to your specific needs. This could be a referral for coaching, psychotherapy or medication consultation.
Within 4 weeks of the assessment, a full diagnostic report and the Qb test outcomes, assessment narrative, and recommendations will be provided. This document if often between 10 and 12 pages long. You can use this report to support your application for educational and occupational adjustments and to inform other healthcare providers of your diagnosis.

Assessment with medication consultation (POA)
Dr Butler has worked hard to find the right professionals who meet particular standards of service and care so that you can feel confident talking to members of our referral network.
The quality of the network means that our prescribers are in high demand, and that a wait period between your assessment and medication consultation may be unavoidable. Rest assured we will do our best to make sure you are seen as soon as possible.
Medication is not the only recommended treatment for ADHD, the NICE guidelines also recommend Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or coaching for ADHD. Many people explore counselling for support in adjusting to the impact of an ADHD diagnosis.
